Self-Drive Motor Boat Hire

Skipper yourself in one of our self-drive launches.

Enjoy a leisurely hour or two exploring at the helm of your own motorboat. No previous experience is required, as the Boats are safe and easy to drive. Our launches seat up to 6 passengers.

As a matter of safety you will be instructed on how to use the controls of the boats.

The hire boats are only available to mature adult couples and familys only.

Our boats are available for hire every day from Easter up until the end of September, then weekends in October.

Subject to weather conditions, and please pre-book in advance.

HIRE RATES £20 per hour,or £50 for 3 hours,plus security deposit, dependent upon age,group type, and length of hire.(returnable).

Please note we are only able to accept cash payments.

Fuel, Insurance and buoyancy aids are included in the hire price.

Location

Our departure mooring is located at the bottom of Lucy Tower Street on the Brayford Pool opposite `Ask` Pizza restaurant next to the Harbourmasters Office.

For car users there is a multi-storey car park at the bottom of Lucy Tower Street 2 minutes walk away from our mooring.

For satellite navigation users our mooring is at LN1 1YX
